I'm sure I'm not the only one to have what I would call an extensive collection of molds. I thought I had a good game plan but that cup has runneth over. What are you guys doing for easily accessible storage?197320

i have a similar setup, but no where near as many!

Is that a magnetic strip holding the handles?

Just now this week I took delivery of a large MTM dry box that I will use to replace the two 50 caliber ammo cans that have used for years to store my molds in. If you have dozens of molds something with drawers or compartments might serve you better.

I use the air tight food storage containers with 4 clamps. I bought the long skinny ones, they are about 2" x 2" x 8"
The Lee molds are in their original boxes.

Not my intention at all. I know there's fellows in here with 3x what I have.
I'm just looking for solutions, from some folks who have been there, done that.

The "fat" fifty ammo cans work well for my needs .

Tool boxes , masking tape and permanent marker labels describing what's inside is the best I can do.

The whole concept of easily accessible and organized storage has alluded me my entire life. I drove my mother to exasperation with my disorganization , she claimed I was the offspring of pack rats with hoarding problems .

I've been using the Sterilite clear storage box that is designed for storing clothes under a bed, it's about 6" tall by 1.5' X 2.5' or so. They stack and are very easy to find your stuff when full. They are $5 or so at walmart

Ben I remember seeing this post a long time ago. So how many a ammo can storage boxes do you have 10 years later? 4 or 5 I'm guessing. Lol
