I'm thinking of hunting coyotes with my Carcano. Do you think I can get an accurate 100 gr bullet? All I've used is Lee Cruise Missiles. It is very accurate with them, but I have no idea on lighter bullets. The gun is '41 with 1-8 twist and is not a gain twist Carcano. I am hoping to reach out a little further with a faster round.

The only thing I can say is try it and see what happens. Usually the rifling twist rate is intended for heavier bullets, but it may work just fine for your purposes though. It sure won't hurt anything to load up some rounds and try it on a target and see what happens.
