A boolit started my car

I had a bad battery clamp that wouldn't tighten down sufficiently to make good contact. I needed a small piece of metal to shim the clamp and the easiest thing that came to mind was smashing a boolit to fit. A few minutes later, a Lee .358 120 TC was installed and she cranked right up!

Fit is king!

This is better then having you car fire your bullet.

This is better then working on your car and having a bullet slip out of your shirt pocket bounce around, land on the starter and make contact with the battery cable.

I once knew someone (no not me) who used a 22LR to replace a 25a fuse, I think for the heater. It worked for a little bit but ended with a surprise.

I've recycled battery clamps to make bullets but not the other way around.

Just be sure to get the aluminum mold as the brass 4 banger will be HEAVY!
