i think you helped me solve a big problem w/ a couple of my rifles, my 30 cal bore snake is now retired and replaced, as it was well coated in teflon rem oil. my shots tightened up about 50 percent on a very troublesome rifle, it was about to be rebarreled thinking it was wore out. more comments on what works well for others are welcome, i never even considered my bore snake was the problem. i guess i need to revisit my cleaning habits. what other "stupid" fixes have others found for their rifles?

First off, you are most welcome. I am glad my bad experience and lesson learned was helpful for someone. At least now I know that some of my posts are not totally useless.
