Job 9:32-35 “God is not a mortal like me, so I cannot argue with him or take him to trial. If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together. The mediator could make God stop beating me, and I would no longer live in terror of his punishment. Then I could speak to him without fear, but I cannot do that in my own strength.

Much of what Job says and asks for are only answered by Jesus and the New Testament revelation. There is a little book written by G. Campbell Morgan called The Answers of Jesus to Job that deals with this.

Isn't it strange how we read the Bible, yet read over so much of it. I confess to having done this myself! I was reading Job just this past week and there was this verse! Job asking for a mediator! Thank you Jesus for being our mediator, our high priest!
