I traded into an FNS 9 over the weekend. It wasn't a gun that was on my radar at all, but I actually really like it. This is my first polymer framed striker-fired pistol, so I don't have much to compare it to. I have shot several Glocks and a couple XD's and never cared for them at all. There's something different about this pistol though. It's comfortable, easy to shoot, and you can't go wrong with 3 17 rounds magazines. Nothing like carrying a full box of ammo with you at all times [emoji4] https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170605/96201f84e756eb07a688cfd3529a69e2.jpg

Very nice. I really like the FN.
My asked me to go with him to pick out a new handgun. Our neighbor told him to buy a Taurus so I went along to make sure he didn't buy something he regretted.
Out of all the guns he handled, the FN felt the best in his hands. He tried every major manufacturers guns bit just fell for the FN. For someone who had never fired an automatic before he certainly does well with it.

Good choice. We'll be looking for a report.

FN has an excellent name so it should be a good handgun. Like scattershot I'm looking for a report.

I've only been able to put one mag through it so far. I purposely grabbed a variety of factory ammo and reloads (including cast) and loaded them randomly in the mag. Each one fired and ejected fine. The gun seemed to shoot POA on steel plates at approx. 10yds. I'll hopefully get some more range time with it later in the week and report back.

This is a severe malady. I advise treatment with an old blued steel and wood revolver, or possibly an early semi-auto like a S&W 39, before your infection gets too bad or spreads to your loved ones.

I know....I'm pretty sure my Blackhawks glared at me when I put that FN back in the safe. Hope they beat it up too bad [emoji45]

I pretty much switched over to carrying glocks all the time now.
Glock 27, 23 or 22
depends on what I am wearing and where I am going.
Cool thing is I keep 22 mags as spares in the cars. So no matter what gun I am carrying I got spare mags.

I did purchase a Walther PPQ last year. 9mm striker fired. Its just like the FN as far as trigger pull goes.
I like it a lot.

You will grow to really love the FN though.. 9mm is on the major comeback

Based on how the FNS is, I am contemplating a FNX purchase....in .40

FN makes a great pistol! Really thought they were going to makes a strong push in the LEO gun sells in early 2000, and eat up some of Glocks profits. But never happened.
