I lurk a lot and every now and again I'm here!

Brought this home today from a show.

Uberti 1858 Remington Army 44.
With a Kirst Cartridge Konverter in 45 Colt.
Has had the machine work and slick trigger job done by Kirst.

Sweet little pistol! Don't believe it has seen much use and the 44 cylinder appears unfired.

Find some brass, cast up a few rounds, add a little black powder and going to see what she'll do!196957

You will like it.
I have a Pietta 1858 with the drop in Howell conversion.
Will do 2" groups at 25 yds. and one hole at 10yds.

about a year ago I got one at a gun auction. a uberti in stainless steel with Howell cylinder. paid $145 for it. only bad thing the cap and ball cylinder was missing. bad thing a new cylinder will cost about as much as I paid for the gun. found a receipt in the box for $875.

same auction got a pieta I .36 with the Howell .38 sp. cylinder it is blue. got it a little less the the .45.

they both shoot good.
