I am looking to purchase another 4-5 cavity H&G 68 clone. Normally I go straight to NOE, but they only have brass in stock, and Arsenal Moulds beats the NOE price by a pretty high margin.

Is the Arsenal H&G 68 mould the same as the NOE H&G 68 Clone? I don't want to have to adjust depth, crimp etc if I buy a clone from another company.

Thank you in advance!

I own the NOE version, it doesn't look anything like the website drawing which has a very pointy meplat like the Lee version. The actual boolits from the NOE mold look identical to those on the Arsenal website, and drop about 210gr with range scrap. I have one Arsenal mold and a bunch of NOE, but not a knock at Arsenal's quality as I discovered them later. The NOEs are slightly better finished. On the Arsenal, the sprue plate came with some sort of painted coating that I accidentally scrubbed off during the initial cleaning, but it doesn't affect function in the least. Hope this helps.

NOE boolit: 0.320" shoulder to base, 0.635" OAL

Sorry for crappy pics.

Based on dimensions from the Arsenal website, they should work for your purposes.

I got a 5 cavity mold from Accurate Molds that describes it as "H & G Clone" right in the catalog. The number is 45-200H. Tom shows turnaround time is 4 weeks, but in my many experiences with him, wait time is much less.

Tom's clone does not have the flat front shelf or the rounded nose of the original H&G 68. His equipment has limitations that I believe prevents him from doing an exact copy.

My Arsenal molds have always been a real good mold!
Cast nice and true and drop bullets very easily they are nicely machined.

I'm liking the Arsenal molds. They drop a good boolit, and the price is nice.

I can vouch for the 45-70 330 gr mold.
I have a load with 2400 that shoots a ragged hole all day every day winter or summer.
I would not part with that mold for all the tea in china.

Sorry no experience with the 44 mold.

Have used a friend's .45-200H 4 cavity mold. Best mold he ever used, he told me, I agree with him. Harles

I have the 45-200h and it for sure a excellent performer. With a 4 cavity and not trying hard 300 bullets under a hour is normal
