I think I remember someone having trouble finding Johnsons Paste wax. I have seen the product at Home Depot this last week and think they keep it on hand. I just am putting this out there in case someone has a need.

Johnson's One Step Liquid is the hard to find stuff (for Ben's Liquid Lube)

IIRC, it was someone in Canada that couldn't get JPW

Paste wax is still sold. One Step is no more

It's considered ORM-D here so I'm assuming that Johnson's doesn't produce it in Canada and doesn't want to go through the hassle to export it. The One Step is ORM-D as well.

Boltz hardware in Martinsburg, WV carries it in pound cans.

I use it in my pan lube mix with pet. jelly/candlewax/paraffin/etc., and in my Recluses recipe tumble lube stuff. I try to keep a couple cans on hand all the time. They run about 7-8 frogskins at our local small town hardware stores. They only stock one can at a time, but reorder as soon as one is sold.

I think if someone just took the paste wax & added a solvent like mineral spirits/acetone/etc. & mixed it right, they would end up with the same type as the One Step stuff.

I don't worry about having that One step stuff, as the other methods work just fine for me. & prolly would for anyone else. I would not loose sleep over not having any, when there are so many options for lubes.
