I have a RCBS K-250 2-cavity mold that I would like to beagle with aluminum tape as it is about .004 out of round . Could someone who has done this please post a picture of what the finished job should look like ? Thank you

There are pictures in Beagle's article on Cast Pics, link at the bottom of the page.

.004 out big on the seam? Beagling is gonna make it more out of round if this is the case.

Yes, they're out of round but they're out of round on boths sides equally and this balances the bullet so it has little affect on accuracy./beagle

and any resizing done will help to round it out.

Think how "out of round" a 2 bladed aircraft propeller is and they spin nice and smooth!

Ya' just gotta love it when someone uses a simple (but vivid) example to explain a ballistics question, don't ya'?

One of my Lee C312-185 molds drops bullets that are .004 out of round. No big deal though. I use the Lee .314 push thru sizing die to apply the GC. Bullets are still out of round but it hardly matters since the ultimate sizer is the bore of my rifle. My Finn M39 LOVES this bullet with 12grs. Unique.

Most any hardware store. If they do not have it, they can get it. Lowe's, Home Depot, any others like that.
