When chambering for a 6x47 (from a 222 mag) can I use a 222mag go gauge?
Thanks Aaron

I had a Rem 600 rebarreled to 6x47 and formed brass by shooting .222 Mag factory loads - so at least in my gun 30yrs ago I'd say yes.

For all practical purposes, 6x47 is a wildcat so the "headspace" issue doesn't exist. You fire form the brass and set your dies accordingly. Therefore, the 222 MAG gauge would be fine.
