It is working. I don't know if it can be done but there isn't a notification when a member enters or leaves. I find it quit handy to keep track of people. Sorry I had a poor attitude about the avatars, got it changed in setting. I couldn't see who was talking. You all worked very hard on this, thank you. Jason

Thank you, Gunload Master, for bringing chat back to everyone [smilie=w:. We know Java had to go :killingpc. The new room is a different color but it's still got 4 walls and a ceiling. Plenty of coffee too:coffee: We still need to pick out the furniture and the drapes, but, they'll come in time.

NYfirefighter357 was right about showing people coming and going. It's nice to get a "Hi" and a "Bye." Not to mention trying to start a conversation with someone that left 5 minutes ago [smilie=1:.

It is working , works well and simple to use . If I can use it anyone can . Should expand the enjoyment you can get out of the forum to a new level . Good folks there just like on this board . Reloading , gun builds , kidding around and just normal conversation . Troublemakers will not be tolerated and inappropriate posts will be taken down . I don't see anything but good to come from the new chat provided for us .

I consider the vast majority of the members here to be good honest folks . They have proven it by the assistance and time given to people in all aspects this forum covers . I have seen these members here reach out to help others having a hard time . You ain't gonna find folks like are here on the other forums . We even have a Chapel ! I feel like all the ones that run this place are trying to improve it for...US !

Heck try the new Chat . If you need help just ask a mod , they are working hard to make it fly...help them and yourself . Check it out !

Works with iphone, but it's clunky. Hit "send" and it drops the keypad but doesn't send, hit "send" again it posts but pulls the keyboard back up again and you have to hit "done" to read.

I was surprised to see the new look of the chat room, but was able to scramble around and find a way to make it work. I'm guessing that We all will just have to get used to the new system. Improvements are coming a little later I expect. I would like to see changes made that would allow posting of pictures without having to go to an image host, and do away with the message in a balloon scheme. Huge improvement not having to have Java.
