Lyman 452374 255gr in 45lc

Anyone have this mold and load for the 45lc, if so where to find load data for it?

The Lyman 452374 works fine (taper crimped) in my Blackhawk 45 LC. Use Lyman loads for 230~250 gr. boolits. Red Dot/Promo 6.0 gr works from me.

The 452374 is a 230 gr. boolit. I don't remember ever loading it in the LC brass however I believe that's what Thell Reed used most. I load 452374 in Schofield brass and it works great. 7.0 gr. Unique COL 1.45" gives me 800 fps out of a 4 3/4" Colt's SAA. I cast it in wheelweights, lube it with Alox at .452". It seems to favour being sized to .452" while the .454190 factors being sized to .454".

American Select at 6.3 gr clocks at 800 fps also with the above same details.

Thanks Ed_Shot for the info.....I see I fat fingered the "255" It was supposed to be "225".

I have plenty of Red Dot but no Promo... Will have to try it out.
