One more Bullseye Load question, load needed for 30-223

Has anyone tried Bullseye in the 30-223 (300 Apache) ? or 300blk with the Lee 230 gr. ? I have a 30-223 in a bolt action rifle.

Would NOT reccomend with such a heavy bullet. Asking for BIG trouble.

I havent used Bullseye but found 4gr 700-X works quite well for me. Just did a search and many threads came up

I have occasionally used Bullseye in the 7mm TCU and a 140 gr boolit with some success to send boolits out right around the speed of sound. Boolit stability was the major issue at just subsonic but adding another 100 fps (5.8 gr) kept the boolits going the right direction out to 90 yards.

I figured if someone is using it in the 300 it will work in the 30-223. Can use the 300 loads as starting loads.
