Most of the game ive shot have been shot with the rcbs 400 swc and the lee 400. I have many other molds but those two have allways shot well and seem to be the ones I tend to use for hunting. Probably the most used loads are 27 grains of 110 for full power and 14 grains of hs6 and 22 grains of 2400 for a midrange loads that are the loads mostly used and 9 grains of unique has taken a few deer and pigs.

I have used a lot of 296 and HS-6 with very good results. Have anyone used IMR4227 for hunting loads or Titegroup for the mouse farts? I shoot cast from 355 gr to 425 gr.

I tried some 4227 with Hornady 325s and the powder is alittle slow for them. They started getting better at max but I think there are better powders available. I just tried 14.0-15.0 of HS6 with some MiHec 477-640 HP at 390 as casted with my alloy. They are a midrange load in the 1150 neighborhood. They reportedly do well on Bison and are pleasant to shoot. I think the go to powder for max loads would be H110/296.
