He did die to pay for our sin . Belief in Jesus Christ , belief that he came to die for us ...to save us because of his love for us .

Yep. Very simple. It's a shame so many try to complicate it so much, and "stylize" it beyond rationality. But we are a very flawed set of creatures. That's why, I think, that Christ offered Himself up in our stead as the payment for all sin, if we'll just accept that wondrous gift. And all we have to be is humble enough, and rational enough, to accept it, as offered. What a wondrous Lord we serve!
