I had a day surgery today to fix my leak. In and out. Sore as I'll get out though. They have to cut the taint and they also cut the nut to adjust/replace the pump. I was told they also removed a couple of bladder stones. Had one big one taken out in November.

6-8 week recovery time. It will be a couple weeks at a minimum before I can even feel like casting any boolits.

But I'm alive and hopefully come the end of June I'll be dry again.

You know plain ole normal life isn't always easy and what you have is down right horrible, so I been praying every time I read your name. I hope, and pray, that this thing is going to heal up right. God blessings on you and your family.

Thanks for keeping us informed. I was hoping you would be able to have the simpler version of that surgery. Take it easy and get healed up. Spend lots of time on here. Hoping it will be successful and you can get back to doing the things that you have missed out on.

Thanks everyone. I slept really good last night. Then I got up and realized how sore I am. I've got to take the catheter out today which means no more lounging in the chair without having to get up.

I've fallen in love with my little foam donut though!

BNE nailed it! These "Golden Years" are full of stuff we could never have anticipated. Whether we'd conduct ourselves so as to avoid most of the problems of old age or not is arguable, of course, but ..... I have to think maybe we'd have done a LITTLE better? Maybe???

Praying you'll have a quick and easy recovery.
