Just wondering if anybody else has tried the new Hornady FPB. For those who don't know it is a full copper jacket hollow base conical that was just released. I have not had a chance to get out to the range to test them but I hear they are supposed to be pretty good if the barrel is not too tight.

Well I got a chance to try them out and even at a dollar a piece.(15 dollars for a 15 pack) I am not sure if I will ever be able to use anything else in my 50 cals. These things are amazing. I would like to know if I am just lucky or if these things are really good.

I plan on testing them for penetration/hold up. I saw one fired with 80g BH209 and it was pretty chewed up. 100+ grains powder might be to much but i wont know until i shoot them.

Howdy Corey.
