Do you have data from Phil Sharpe's book? If not, PM me with your e-mail and I'll try to get a scan and send to you. Regards, Woody

Cartridges of the World lists only 3 loads, a cast boolit of 156 grains at 1270 fps ( a Lyman 321-298--good luck with that--over 9.5 grains of 2400), a JSP of 165 grains over 12.5 IMR 4227 for 1440 fps. and a 165 grain JSP over 12.0 grains of 2400. I think I would try an Accurate 32-155L, plain base sized to fit and either heat treated or water dropped. I would start at 4.5 grains of Unique or 9.0 grains of 2400 and work up until I got decent function. I would not exceed 6.5 grains of Unique nor would I go over 10.0 grains of 2400.

Barnes says that it is arguably the most useless center fire cartridge ever invented, describing it as a sort of a rimmed 30 carbine case, but loaded to 32-20 levels with heavy bullets. I think it more like a 300 black out...

^^^ But if you'll notice, it matches the 32/40 in ballistics according to the 4th edition of COTW. Todd.
