I have a mint Bausch & Lomb BV 6-24 variable. Anyone here have a copy of the manual that would be willing to make me a copy? I wouldn't say the rig is old, but the rifle is an early 1950's 219 Donaldson Wasp.

Thank you all in advance...

Rich

I assume you're talking about the big one with the recoil spring? I love the scope and have one on my 50's vintage Gold Cup Rifle. Let me check as I believe a friend has the manual. May I ask do you have a specific question about the scope? The reason I ask is because the manual really doesn't have instructions on how to fix the dials or anything like that and is very spartan as far as instructions...

I am trying to figure out how they set up.

Rifle is a W.F. Vickery on an old Mauser.

Have the scope. What do you mean by "set up" ?

how everything works. I got the rifle with the scope on it and zeroed at 200. Never messed with the load, just shot it. And, I would just like to have a copy.

thanks,

Rich

On the rear mount one rig controls windage the other elevation. Both are marked.

On the objective end is the parralax adjustment. Works the same as any unertl or lyman target scope. I'm sure someone at a good gunshop or at the range could show you how it works.

It's really a pretty simple scope of excellent quality.

I have one on my Winchester 52. Great scope but very limited elevation adjustment.
I found all the owners manuals online. Just type in Balvar 24 owners manual, I forget the site but thinking its called steves pages, has tons of manuals free to download.
Also has all the stuff for Unertl scopes and mounts.
Hope this helps.
