So I have the 4 cavity
193603
and the 95 Mauser in the middle .
193604
I have no idea where to go with this cartridge .
It shoots a 100 gr Game King with a start load of IMR4350 with deliberate accuracy but the action is not up to a lot of those . Poor choice , marginal decision making , beautiful rifle , a prime candidate for 30kpsi max cast .

On to the quest .
I have a brand new to me Lyman 4C 257312 that seems like it should be a fine boolit to dispatch anything under 100# as long as my preferred alloy doesn't fragment in this bullet , it holds up in the 279-124 FP NOE so I have high hopes . I don't foresee an application above above 2200 fps and should I need that I have an NOE 260-120FP .
I have some 4831 and lots of I 4350 and H322 that should cover any go fast urges . Finding a load of Unique just means I need to start about 6.5 and stop around 12.0 .

What sort of suggestions for we have for the 257312 and the rifle powders ?

The 25 is my Dad's thing I'm happy with slow , fat boolits .

try the H-322.
you'll probably see some vertical stringing and will want to use a filler.
I have had outstanding accuracy with the 322 and a filler in several rifles.
I'd start at the 19-20gr area [and kick around that area a bit] before working up to the 22-23gr area.
