Hello. I have a Lowe Mauser that has a nice, but large grove diameter. I need a mold that drops at least .287+with a.277 nose. Will the Lee mold get me close enough to lap to size? Thanks, lreed

It might. If not you can get that much by Beagleing it.

Thanks, I'm familier with Mr. Beagle's method and will use it on the two molds I've got in 7mm, they are single cavity and slow, was hopeing someone with a Lee might post a measurement Thanks lreed

..............My copy of that mould barely reaches .285". It's an older one tho'. Most Lee moulds produce pretty much what they call out. They're not ones to give ya a couple extra thousandths! :-)

For some number of years I;ve been thinking of a GB for a "Fat 7mm" that would drop about .288". Lord knows there have been enough 30's done. Fat, Fatter, and Fattest 30's, and the Fat and Fatter variety have had several iterations done.
