Hello
I started a project a few weeks ago and unfortunately I've hit a financial wall . Or to speak plainly I've spent all my cash on some other tools I needed for the build .

So if anyone would happen to have a regular 6-40 tap and a 6-40 bottom tap I'd be eternally greatful . If possible the proper drill to go with would be a huge help as well .

I also wouldn't turn down some .080 and .120 music wire to make springs either .

There are a few other minor items ill need But the taps are the only thing I am in immediate need of .

A couple pics of the project ..

I have a music wire around somewhere. I am not sure about the diameter but I will try to find it and let you know.

I can get you the taps and drill.
What material are you working in?
Thanx
Kevin

Everything that gets drilled and tapped is plain old 1018 mild steel
Actually, everything except the hammer and breech face is mild steel .
So everything should be easy to tap . Still makes me a bit nervous though with the blind holes and tiny tap .

I just got back from my trip last night and I looked but couldn't find it. I was pretty tired but I will check again.
