I was re-arranging some junk in my garage and I found a long lost friend.
I sure wish there was an easy way to rotate the pictures?

Infranview (http://www.irfanview.com/) is the answer. Very easy to rotate and save pictures.

Irfanview is the right answer!

Free, no 30 day trials, FREE for home use. Small, not a resource hawg, and as a result easy to learn. Been using it for 20 years.

I had one just like that, given to me. It is now 1/4lb biscuits. Kept jamming up my metal saw so I would start a blade line than hit that end with a maul and it would snap that piece off.

I have seen Linotype cast like that for reuse. It is hung over the melting pot and lowered in as needed.

Is that an old fireman's horn behind it.

Looks like an old window weight.

Nice find! I spent several weeks cleaning up in my shop after hunting season was over and found several buckets of wheelweights that I forgot about having. And a few smaller buckets of other stuff. Like a kid at Christmas!

I don`t know, that looks like it could be dangerous to have laying around. I am well enough versed and trained to handle such items, PM me for shipping address so I can take it off your hands and put it to correct usage.Robert

I dream of finding a stack of those linotype pigs before I die. On my bucket list for real. I have found a few or pieces but I want a bloody stack of them that I can sit and look at and that will confuse and annoy the wife.

The upside to garage and shop clean up is all the neat stuff you find and rediscover, the downside is all the stuff you find that you really needed 6 months ago.

I had a chance at a pallet stacked up with 3,000 lbs of them pigs for .63 a pound.
I couldn't figure out what I was ever gonna do with that much lino so I only bought 500 lbs.
I traded over 300 lbs of it for other stuff.
