What is this?
A #7 shell holder and a ram, but what is it used for?

Whose #7? Are there rifle and pistol calibers which share base dimensions, or am I missing something here?

The rod with the hole in the end fits into the shell holder. What does it do?

Could it act like an extended shell holder in some kind of bench rest type seating die?

It's too long but looks to function like the push rod for the Lee Bulge Buster. Gp

Made me think and do some research. I couldn't find the answer so I kept coming back to look at the photos as I came up with ideas. Great job BrassMagnet!!
