I have a .452 Lee mold that a 300grl GC. it sticks out the case so far I think it's hitting the slope at the front of the cylinder (it's the 90349 mold) of a Ruger. has anyone used this bullet before and what where your results? I'm pushing it with 15gr's of acc. #9, it's kinda accurate, about 6-8 inches at 15 yards off hand.

That bullet has 2 crimp grooves, the same bullet fits the 1.6" spec to go thru a lever gun. They worked in my Blackhawk when I messed with them.

6-8 in at 15yd is not very accurate. One thing you will find with Lee is undersized bullets. Mine had to be leemented, to cast a usable .452 bullet, and the Lee sizer went to 451 vs 452. NOE sizers fixed such issues.

Well umm ......
The mould number you have is for the 452-255 RF . That one I've shot a lot .

Lots of questions here .
Why a 300 gr gas check ? Super BlackHawk in 454 maybe ?
Have you check the throats for a single vs 3 different dimensions ?
Are you sized to less than +.001 of the throats ?

Why on Earth would you shoot only 45 feet with such a heavy weight hunting load ? When I was preparing for what should have been a great opportunity to take a mulie with a pistol I was shooting <5.5 inches in a 2 handed Weaver like stance at 50 yd with an 1100 fps 265 gr from the 452-255 RF in a 7.5" BlackHawk . I didn't get to shoot a deer but a couple of yr later I wrecked a couple of hogs with a similar load .

if the boolit is hitting the front of the cylinder the case will stick out of the back of the cylinder making it hard to close or turn.
try seating slightly shorter and see if the rounds just drop right in the chambers.
