Anyone ever use red dot in a 7tcu with CB's?
Not looking for a barn burner. Just a safe load to plink and maybe coyote hunt with.
Anyone got any Data?
Thanks,
Dan

Starting load for a 308, or 7.65 arg is 10 grains. Max is 13

Starting load for 222 is 5.5

Hope this helps.

Dan,
Can't help you with the Red Dot. The light load I use is with 7grs. Unique and Lee's 130 gr. gas checked bullet. Light and accurate load. I haven't chrono'd this load, its good for 50 yard targets but how a coyote would react at a more distant range, I haven't had the opportunity.

This is just enough of an excuse to send me to the range with a bunch of loads to try. I will, of course, excercise EXTREME caution while treading in these murky waters. I kinda like that nervous feeling I get when firing unproven loads for the first time.
I'll report back when finished, hopefully with the same number of limbs and digits.
