Im looking at mold for a Taurus Thunderbolt. I know its not a leever but it feeds the same way.

Im wanting something that is a round nose style with a flat meplat. Hoping to to select a mold that will feed well. I also like the way they cut a large hole in paper.

I see that most of these styles do not have a crimp grove. I had rather taper crimp my lead bullets. Will it be a problem with a tube magazine?

I shoot a Rossi 92 in a 45C and have no problems with the standard 255 grain lead round flat point. I cannot remember a malfunction ever.I think the length is 1.590 about .010" shorter than the 1.6 hope this helps and it is a lever gun.

Any of the 452-4 - 255s should meet that requirement .

454190/452190 is classic, 250grns. I use 230grns, 452374 Miha with the RN pin reversed for a 225grn RNFP

Both the Lee 452-200 RF and 255 RF feed well through my Henry BBS. Crimp groove is located the same distance from the nose, so the coal is the same for both loads.

ive used the lee 200 and 255 rf molds without issues but prefer the tl 200 gr swc bullet in my rossi ranch hand and in my black hawk .

The RCBS .45-225-CAV is a truncated cone, and feeds well in all my 45 Colt leverguns.
