Father, Please walk with the Redden family and help them to dwell on the good times they shared together. Time will heal but not replace and my prayer is for the Redden family as they go through the mourning process. AMEN

I've long been a bit surprised at how much sorrow there is at most funerals. But, we think mostly of ourselves, and a loss of a "good one" is always going to make us sad. But for the truly good ones, it's the big payoff for all they have done in this life, and all the steadfastness and care they've given to so many. For them, it's "payday," and a wonderful thing that is! Yet, who among us cannot feel sorrow at OUR loss, when a great one passes on?

Prayers up for the family and friends. May they be truly grateful for her service and love she had for them all.

Most funerals I do are not all doom & gloom but this one was different. She wanted more time with her family. She was ready to leave this place but loved her family as much as anyone I've met.

I tell people at most funerals that everyone in here is sad expect the one in the casket.
