My buddy has both a bolt action and AR in 300 BLK. Yesterday he picked up his suppressor (after a long wait) for these guns. We want to try it out this weekend.

I have some 300 Oregon Trail 110 PB carbine bullets left over from carbine days and some empty blackout brass. I have Unique,Red Dot, Bullseye and Greendot. Also H4227,2400.

Can somebody give some guidance for load for 1000-1300 fps range. At this time it is not important that the loads work the action on the AR.

Can you help us with play time.

Thanks,

Bill

6 grs Unique might be worth a try. I'm sure it won't cycle the AR.
Best, Thomas.

You need to go heavy to get the AR to cycle at low speeds. You may want to start at the suggested 6 grns of pistols powder and change it up or down to get the speed you want ,remember a squib without the tools to remove the boolit can wreck a range day, good luck. PM if you want some Lee 230's to try.
