As the header, I have the NOE 105 gr 6mm mould decided to try it in my 6mmBR 1:8" Ruger No 1 have any of you tried this? My first attempt at 50M looks
promising I loaded up 10 rounds with 14.0 grains of Nobels No3 rifle powder about 4198 equivalent and shot two 5 shot groups at 50 metres both were 1/2" wide
and 1 1/4" vertical barrel may need a good clean to clean out any copper I have only shot J words in it up to now, I have to neck turn the brass to get clearance
the chamber has a .269" neck and is throated for 105 gr Lapua Scenars which means the boolit base is level with the bottom of the neck,
If this works out it will make a great bunny basher, my hunting ground is a couple of Golf courses the range of the majority of shots is under 150 metres,
I have spend today prepping 50 cases just need to sort out a few loads to try, anyone have any suggestions what to start with I have the Nobels No 3 H4198
2400 H4895 and Little Gun.
Cheers
Robert.
