I may need an intervention. Trying to clean my office and pulled this stuff out. I'm missing an AR10 lower somewhere and an AR15 upper. I'll find them before the day is done. I have a big box full of parts as well, and 4 barrels still in the cardboard tubes. Sigh. This is gonna be a lot of cerakoting for me. I already have 358 win, 308 win x3, 7mm-08, and I may do 6.5CM/260 or 243 in the future

I highly recommend cognitive therapy. It involves mindful meditation on your problems with thoughtful, repetitive actions to reinforce positive behaviors. I find it works wonders when you are at the range taking your time to meditate on sight picture, trigger squeeze and taking notes on your reloads.

I also have an AR-10 addiction, even though I currently only have one. Would love to have a couple more, or at least a couple more uppers.

I have 6 matched billet PWS primary Weapon Systems upper and lower receivers. All in the white but I don't care as I do my own cerakoting.

Right now now I plan to cerakote the 358 win in ATACS FG camo, the 308 will be flat dark earth and desert sand, the 7mm-08 will be patriot brown and black. I haven't decided on the others.

I'd like to offer you words of hope and encouragement, but frankly, you're probably beyond help! :D

So you are saying it hopeless.

Buddy, Pal, Friend of mine!!! I have a cure for you.

Just box up, carefully mind you, and send all that superfluous stuff to me. For a slight (cough) nominal fee, I will make your troubles disappear.

Seriously, it looks like a fun problem to have. What else did you expect from this bunch of enablers?

So you are saying it hopeless.

I don't consider it hopeless!! I just fail to see a problem other than having enough time to shoot all those fine guns as much as they deserve.

If you run into that problem Robert just let me know and will give you a hand. If my friend doesn't stop by tomorrow I will be in butler at some point.

Good point. But I am about to spend a few hundred on just reloading dies and conversion kits to feed these things

The .358 AR 10 would be great. I've always felt that if a gun is heavy it should fire a SERIOUS cartridge. Enjoy yourself. We won't intervene; we'll encourage!
Best, Thomas.

How Old are you?, I used to take 3 Rifles with different loadings of Cast Bullets which were GC'd with a 3/8 torque wrench so I would not bump them up on the "Saeco" sizer,(6.5, .313" .336")plus a Pistol & a Revolver, now it's maybe 2 Pistols, but now I, 83, do not get desperate, enjoy each & every shooting iron, just converted a Zastava9x19 to a 9x23, just to have something to mentally get into, You Kapish?

I'm 38 years old. I'm just a collector of calibers. I reload for 223, 243, 25-06, 6.5 grendel, 6.5x55, 7mm-08, 308, 300 wsm, 358 Winchester, 380 acp, 9mm Luger, 38 special, 357 magnum, and 45 acp. Variety is the spice of life.

What would it cost you to build a 260 Rem upper?

What would it cost you to build a 260 Rem upper?

Just the upper? Depends on a lot such as what quality barrel and handguard

308Jeff
04-10-2017, 03:49 PM
Yeah. Just something to shoot F-Class type matches with.

n10sivern

Quality barrel would be the matched shilen barrel with bolt but it's $500 for just that. Lilja barrels are a little over $500. You can get cheaper barrels such as a blackhole weaponry or maybe a criterion but they won't be significantly cheaper. I wouldn't go cheaper than that because you may end up wasting ammo trying to shoot bug holes at 600-1000 yards.

ok. It has been a while since I updated this. I've been busy with school and work and about 5000 other things. Over the last two weeks I have been able to knock out some cerakoting and builds.

For starters, these damn receivers multiplied

First up is a S&W 1917 45acp that had little blue left on it. I threw grips on it just for the pictures. I cerakoted it sniper grey but the lighting is **** and it looks yellow
