I may have alterier motives here, good intentions I assure you, so with that out of the way.
I bought this press last summer, Cabela's had a sale and I'd intended to use it to speed up handgun loads. With my recent smoking deal on an RL550b, I'm thinking I don't need, or have room for it. I've loaded less than 100rds with it, I have the Lee auto prime for it as well. But as I recall on Evilbay, used they brought little to nothing, $30ish IIRC?
So, keep it as a spare, try to find a place to store it? Sell it for little to nothing? PIF it and hope Karma is watching? (See, my intentions are good)

Classic Cast Turret
New around $100
I would think $50 plus shipping would be fair
I would keep it and load rifle rounds on it and pistol on your 550
They are great presses.

I have a Redding Boss that I use for rifle, so I'm not down to one at all. IF I ever get to shoot enough I can set the Dillon up for rifle as I only load .243, .308 and 30-06, the cost wouldn't be crazy. But right now if I load 100 of all, I've shot a lot.

I've seen those, they are slick! My problem is where to put it when I'm not using it! We are looking into a building for all my ****, but right now my reloading, records, tapes, cd's, excess equipment, and my wife's desk/computer all share a 10x12 room! Tight is an understatement!

Half of new is sort of pre Craigslist pricing; post CL is "will you take 10% of new?" I hate CL. So the sellers list at 5x's list so the low ballers pay half of list....

Keep it. It's a great press and someday you'll be able to put it to use and be glad you still have it.

Keep it.
I've never known a reloader who didn't at some time or the other need a spare press . Lots of little things you can do on it when you don't want to mess with the adjusted and set up 550b.
I don't do a vast amount of reloading but have acquired 5 presses and use them all .
You will take a beating selling it on ebay and when you decide you need a spare....it will not be cheaper.

That is my main press and one thing I might suggest is setting up disks with dies for tasks such as sizing, or de-priming with universal die. With the auto index rod removed it makes a good quick set up - take down single stage for prep activities. I have a couple disks I set up with sizing dies just so I can size/de-prime then check length and trim as needed for processing brass. Or de-prime before cleaning etc.

on price normally I would not go less than 70% of the price of new for value, a press in good condition is not that different used than it is new. Now what you decide to sell it for might reflect a desire to help out fellow reloader, or see the equipment getting a good home, call it karma value if you will.

Just so you know I would give you your $50 + shipping for it also. If it was me I would keep it.
