I understand we were watching for a bullet entering the picture.

I did not see much, not even sure what I saw.

If you go to the host Vimeo by clicking the Vimeo text, then go full screen, you'll see the blur of the bullet and the hole it makes. In some cases clobs of muck flying up in the background.

A useful tool for bullet photography, though I've never used it, is the Camera Axe triggering system. Keep waiting till the picture of the egg shows up. The internet is full of pictures taken with this and its alternatives.

Well, as rudimentary as mine is, it cost $30. :)

For the record, I just keep the phone on Camera and view the target now, I don't squint into the Konus eyepiece anymore. That was worth the $30 right there! Good enough resolution to see holes out to 200 yards.

That's pretty neat!

Sometimes I'll bring my digital camera to the bench, zoom in on my target, and take pictures at each shot so I can watch the groups grow. 32x and image stabilization works great.

If you shoot at a time when the sun is low and somewhat behind you to the right, it might surprise you just how many of the bullets you can see.

Yeah, what I like is that I just glance at the phone and see my target.

This is what the 200 yard target looked like before I started shooting today. (we patch and re-use a lot of the targets, thus the stickers)

The reason it is at an angle is the way I have the phone attached to the bracket for a quick easy glance to my left.
