This is a Pachmayr Dominator.
It is an old school specialty pistol from the 80s.
It was customized by Chris Rhodes of Bayside Custom Gunworks. He has just recently moved to Newcastle, Wyoming.
When I got my Dominator, he fell in love with the concept and had to have one for himself....He now has a 357 Bain & Davis Dominator.
Mine has a 15" barrel, 1-8 Twist.
I will be starting load development with Hybrid 100V and 140 A-Max's.

This is definitely the coolest single shot pistol I have ever seen.

I haven't seen one of those in decades. I never got into long range single shot pistols, but those seemed like a decent way to get one with an excellent trigger.

A hermit friend of mine had the original .308 Dominator and he used it exclusively on all legal game. He reloaded every thing from RBs to 180 gr jacketed for the purpose. Lots of big Trinity River bucks fell to that hand rifle. His was mounted on a WW1 Colt 1911 frame. Neat guns.

Don't plan on that, but a machinist with CNC has a spare of mine all broken now and is considering making more of these in the future with some improvements.
