Guys I just got me a Howa Mini-action in 6.5 Grendel finally. Been waiting for years for bolt guns to be available. Do any of you shoot cast in the Grendel???

How do you like the Howa Mini so far? Have you had a chance to shoot it. I was looking for one last week and stumbled over a Marlin 1895 CB Pre Remlin. It was to good to pass up. Anyway I still would like a Mini in the 6.5 Grendel.

The Grendel is a great round but if casting is your thing 7.62x39 would have been the way to go IMHO.

Got one of those already in a Mini-Mauser that shoots cloverleafs.

I have a Grendel built on an AR platform which shoots sub-MOA at 300 yards but I am only loading j-words for it at present. I have several other calibers dedicated to cast rounds.

I have laupa brass and Hornady 100 and 123 gr amax on order. Looking for additional input on loading 150gr + cast boolits , powders etc; .

Howa Mini, not concerned about velocity would like a good plinking load.

Thanks
