Just got this yesterday. It is a really tight build. Rightly has a great reputation.

Not only does it look gorgeous, I LOVE the generously sized grips -- you can surely put all fingers about it, below trigger finger, of course. I'd guess a Ruger's grip bottom would be just about where the screw is on your grips!
CONGRATS! and best wishes with it!

Wonderful!!! That gun will put a smile on your face whenever you hold it, shoot it, or look at it.

It is a 357 as shown in the top picture on the barrel. I am green with envy.

NICE!! This is a dream Revolver to me! Would love to have one in .454 Casull with 7.5" bbl

I killed a sleeping bag with a .454 FA--the flame cutting from the cylinder had to be seen to be believed. Sliced that old bag like a raz.or I believe that was the most accurate of-the-shelf revolver I ever fired. I think I'd like to have one, but these days I can't justify it: I can neither shoot straight enough nor afford to spend the dough. Still, I am envious.

I had a Freedom Arms field grade 454 Casull 7.5 inch barrel with a spare cylinder in 45 Colt. The 45 Colt cylinder saw minimal use, lol.

That gun was incredibly accurate and would shoot very well to 100 yards with the Lee 452-255-RF cast of 92/6/2 loaded over a very healthy dose of 2400 lubed with speed green. I miss that gun all the time and another one is on my list for later in life, but I'll go with a 5 1/2 inch barrel and a spare 45 acp cylinder this time around.

This is gorgeous.

I like the blue accents inside the paw reliefs on the cylinder, never saw that before that i can remember. Very subtle but adds to the beauty.

A friend of mine has several of the FA's. Most impressively fit guns! Love the grip, too. Only problem is, when I visited, he wouldn't turn his head so I could steal one or more! I need a better class of friend, don't I???? ;)

Nice gun. I've always been a bit fearful to shoot a Freedom Arms revolver because everybody says they'll spoil you so bad that guns like Ruger Blackhawks will just feel like trash to you after you've shot one.

Thank you all for posting in this thread. I have waited a long time to get this and it is as advertised, a finely crafted gun with fit and finish beyond any gun I have ever owned. I have three Blackhawks, a 50th Anniversary I have not touched and two that i had tuned by the best SASS gunsmiths. Love my Blackhawks, but I cannot even get my fingernail in between the rear of the cylinder and the frame on the Freedom Arms 97. That surprised me, the good kind of surprise.
