Here's a picture containing my new to me Marlin 1895MR , along with a couple others !

My digi cam was not working until today so here it is better late then never I suppose !

I decided to photgraph it with some of my other Marlin's of the same style !

On top is my "new to me" Marlin 1895MR of 2002 vintage .

Below that is my unfired Marlin plain jane 1895 (45-70).

The first scoped rifle is my old plain jane 444 of 2004 vintage .

And finally the rifle on the bottom is my Marlin 308MX .

I purchased the 444 first LNIB , then it was followed last year by the 308MX . And here recently while I was working out the deal for the 1895MR I had the local dealer order me a 1895 that was made in 2007 (wanted one before Remington took over).

They kinda grow on you I think [smilie=1:

Now, all you need is a couple of "1895-G's" (ported & unported & stainless) and a 1972, straight-grip M1895 !

It never ends.

Already have a pair of 1895G ported and one unported !

And one of the 1972 style although mine was made in 1978 ! To say nothing of the 1895CB and 1895XLR I also have !

Although 2 of the 1895G's were purchased for converting to something else !
