Will be here in the Fairfax county area for at least two years.

Been hunting for a place to shop or shoot and can't seem to find many places within a reasonable driving distance.

Tom, I'm south of you in Woodbridge and work in Alexandria. I'll be shooting tonight after work at the Isaac Walton League in Stafford. It is about a 30 minute drive for me. Tony

Quantico Shooting Club is within reach for you, but that club has disadvantages only matched by its advantages. I can tell you more.

There is an indoor range called "The Range" in Stafford County -- only indoor range I've ever shot at, seem like nice people, range was nice enough for me. On US 1 between I-95 exits 133 and 139 (?).

There is a free sight in range at a hunting preserve west of Fredericksburg, probably a too far of a drive for you. Can't remember the exact name at this moment though. No pistols there except single shot scoped pistols.
