A very good friend was fishing on the coast, a long way from their home, when Paul began to have pain in his arm. Kathy took him to the E.R. and they airmailed him to a Houston hospital. The long and short is that Paul will have a heart cath this morning. Please give this good Christian a prayer for healing, removal of pain and fear, and grace.

Father, Paul has been a follower and teacher of Christians for as long as I can remember. He always preaches Your Word. Today, Paul faces a very tough problem with a surgeon today. Please guide the physicians through this procedure. Please remove any fears and concerns. Father, lastly please heal Paul and return him to his family. Father I would also like to pray for peace for his wife and daughter. All is possible through You and I pray that You hear my prayer and grant it. AMEN

Prayers sent. I had one of those heart caths last year. They went in thru my wrist and wasn't a real big problem and wasn't worth all my worry. It dosen't always mean by pass surgery. Lots of times they can get good results with a stent. Lets all hope for the best.

Gentlemen, An update on Paul. They were unable to do the heart cath. It turns out that he has heart damage to the front and back of the heart and only open heart surgery is now his option. It should happen sometime this week. Please pray for him. Paul is a great person who always goes the extra mile to minister and witness to others.

Father, Yesterday I learned that Paul is much sicker than was thought. Please guide the physicians that will do this surgery and let them correct the defects in his heart. Please give Paul the strength to face this challenge. Father, Please take the fears away and let them know that You know what is best for Paul and I pray that You heal him and return him unto us. AMEN

I was really hoping this would be dealt with sooner with a quick recovery . But it's not always simple . The Lord has sustained Paul and more prayer is needed .

Just got to visit with Paul via the telephone. He is sounding strong but the big plus all the things that were wrong to do the surgery and now normal and he is scheduled for 10:30 am on Monday. His surgery is suppose to be the best .... but we all know that he is no better than what You allows him to be. Please continue to pray for Paul, his spouse Kathy and his physicians that will work on him.

Father, I am so encouraged by what Paul reported to me. He is not stressed and I thank You for that. His faith in You is immovable. Father please walk with the team that will work on Paul and please keep him comfortable while he is waiting on his surgery and please keep him pain free and comfortable after his procedure. All is possible through You and I truly give You all the praise for what You are doing for brother Paul and all the other people we pray for each day. AMEN

Paul's surgery has been moved up from 10:30 am to 8 am. Please pray for Paul, his family, and his medical team.

Father, I would like to thank You for bringing all of Paul's vital signs down to an acceptable level. Please be with Paul during his surgery and his recovery. Please grant him grace, comfort, and healing. Father, I know that his family is stressed while waiting for Paul's surgery. Please take all fears away and allow them to relax during this long procedure. Lastly, I was told that Paul's surgeon is the best but we all know that he is no better than You allow him to be. Please be with his physician and medical team as they work on his heart. Please guide them and allow this surgery to change Paul's life in a positive way. Two weeks ago Paul had the beginning of this adventure.....as you know they had to do open heart surgery a week ago and they did a triple bypass.....today he is on his way home to a very anxious daughter......Ladies and gentlemen once again a big Ol' Texas Thank You for the prayers and well wishing for Paul.....but all was possible through God who guided the physicians......a very happy ending to a very life threatening adventure.

Hope his chest is healing well. They don't call those surgeons "chest crackers" for nothin'! A buddy had it and said the operation was a breeze, but the chest was painful. God has been SO good to Paul, and to many of us! I'm also praying Paul will have a minimum of pain from the incision.
