Luke 23;34

[Boaz]

As our Lord hung nailed to the cross suffering to pay our debt . Scorned , ridiculed , abandoned by those he came to save . Refused a drink of water and instead offered a rag soaked in vinegar . He said this .

Luke23;34

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.

And they divided His garments and cast lots.

And yet the nails held Him not. Love held Him to the cross......FOR US!

Love like this has never been known outside Christ.

"No greater love hath any man than this that he should lay down his life for his friends." Jesus laid down His life for His friends as well as His enemies as we All were until we came to Him.

His crucafiction had to happen yet I cant imagine the pain Jesus went through to save us....grace....just pure grace.

Everytime I watch Passion of the Christ, tears well up, and I get a lump in my throat the size of a grapefruit, just seeing the horror He endured for us!
