What say you H & R 45-70


I made a mistake and put this same subject on the black powder cart fourm .....sorry.............can someone delet it

Just would like some in put I seen a new H & R 22 inch barrell with scope base for 225 out the door I have one of there old 410's but haven't picked up one in a while let alone shoot one lets here the good, bad and ugly. The reason is they open up the muzzleloader season to these here in Louisiana and I may get the itch for one

old 06, they are legal in Ms for primitive weapon season. Alot of deer wish that wasnt the case!!!!!!!:mrgreen:

I got one and it shoots good of course in my state it is not a primative weapon even with a ML barrel as the ignition system is not exposed.

Wife slipped one in on me last year after they leagalized them here in MS for muzzle loader season. I love it shoots great. However the ammo is pricey for it so I will be forced to buy a mold and set of dies if I am to ever get very good with it.
