Got 1 off of evil bay and mounted it on my 44mag so I can use different types of scopes not just ones with a 1" tube. Anyone else using this? It uses the factory mount position and gives you a rail to mount to. Haven't had it out yet.:(

If the one you bought is the Weigand, it is the best way to go. I have always griped about the close spacing of the Ruger rings and used one on a SBH Hunter so I could mount anything. It was perfect.

Yes it a weigland, Can't wait to get to range this weekend with some just cast 429303 boolits and a reddot.:drinks:

The Weigand unit rocks. I have one on my .454 Super Redhawk with an Ultra-Dot red dot. The Florida hogs are in deeeeep trouble this year.

LOL! I gave the Florida hogs hell two weeks ago with my Ultradot 30 equipped custom .475 Linebaugh SRH!! Hope to do it again soon!
