Easter Lilies

Since we haven't really had a winter here for the past couple of years, the Easter lilies started blooming a few days ago at my mom's house.

This evening I picked a few for her and hunted up a vase to put them in before she got home. Kind of made me feel like a little boy again.

Daffodils are out everywhere. Last year they got snowed on.

It seems good to see things popping out doesn't it? Spring is one of my favorite times when everything comes to life again - just sort of real "refreshing".

Robert - I'll bet your mother was tickled that you did that for her. Enjoy it and do it often. Both of my folks have been gone for a number of years and I still miss doing things like that for them.

Enjoy the freshness of spring everybody. Always reminds me that it's sort of God's way of making things fresh again and giving us a chance to "get things right".

I am sitting here on the computer and watching it snow. Not going to amount to much as it is supposed to change to showers later this morning. Definitely no flowers though. have a great day everyone.
