NO MORE LEE MOLDS.

I picked up a Lee 6 hole 120 gr TC 9mm mold. Of the six cavities one is out of round. One drops at .361, three drop at .360, and one drops at .359. The out of round cavity is .360 on one axis and .358 on the other. It's quite the adventure running them through a .357 sizing die.

I'm going to have to bite the boolit and either pay more for used Lyman/RCBS on eBay or just get NOE/Arsenal molds. My wife is NOT going to be happy to hear this. I guess I'l have to get some pure lead and sell some to afford my next mold.

Lee does this intentionally so that you will have lots of different bullets to try out.

Why not just save your money and open them all up to .361. http://www.castpics.net/subsite2/MoldMods/LeementingKitDocumentation.pdf

Opening them all up to .361 would make them very oversized for 9mm.

I just bought the same mold. Mine is all over the place too. Not impressed. And to add insult to injury, Shirley said it was OK.

Hmmm....sorry about that...but at least I'm not alone or imagining things.
