Hi, guys, the local gun shop has got some different powders in, one of them being reloader 10.

Does anyone use this powder for cast bullet shooting, more specifically in any of these cartridges:

25-35
300 blackout
30-30
356W
38-55
444

I am not really into blind experimentation, so if anyone has experience of these, that would be good!

Quickload suggests that it will give a good fill and a clean burn versus other powder of similar burn rate, as good as Quickload is, its no substitute for the real world!

I've used it in 30-30 and it went pretty good. I've got a few bottles but I can't find any data for 45-70 with 500gr projies or I would have experimented with that too. Being an Aussie aswell Is it cheaper than our local stuff still?

Its about the same price mate. I am just looking for a powder with a good fill and a pretty complete burn and according to ql its butns nearly as well as 2207 but is closer to 2219 in burn rate speed. I have as just hoping that there was data out there even it was unofficial!

Just looked at my notes 21gr Rx10 under a 195gr in 30-30 gave 1547fps with a std dev. Of 7.94fps. I have loaded up a little more than that I believe but can't find the notes. Rl15 was better for higher velocity under the heavy bullet so I went with that but Rx10 would be perfect for a lighter bullet I believe.

They list data for 30-30 and 444, don't know about the rest.
