Sealed it with floor wax? That counts.

I got my wife a stainless sp101 for a wedding present. I replaced the would grip inserts with custom aluminum inserts that I powder coated pink and then had laser engraved for her. I will see if I can get to the safe and get a picture of the grips.

Here is a wild idea, I am restoring a motorcycle for a friend and the gas tank is rusty inside, I was thinking about using electrolysis to clean the rust out. So to to keep it clean could I powder coat the inside???

I would not powder coat the inside of a fuel tank, they make a product that seals and protects the inside of a fuel tank, just can not remember what it is right now.

After looking at some google pics, I'd like to do the wheels on my garden tractor, but I don't think the Mrs would like them in the oven! I guess I would need a proper powder coating set up to get the static charge, although I do have a cat....

For the inside of a gas tank go to the auto parts store and get some gas tank sealer, it also coats it. or you can look up Eastwood paint products.

Powder coated the brass magwell (magazine funnel) on my Open gun to match some of the other blue anodized parts I have like mag extensions, etc. Since the magwell is brass, it's not anodizable into pretty colors, I think it can be blackened but that's it so I ESPC'ed it with Prismatic Powders colors. A base of Polished Aluminum which looked really good as is but the goal was blue. I cured the aluminum and topcoated it with Blue Anodize which came out really good and closely matches the actual blue stuff. I have PC'ed various other things besides this with success.

I didn't do it but I had some decorative iron brackets for a pergola powder coated in gloss black by a professional shop. They blasted, epoxy primer, and powder coated in 3 days. They have been screwed to pressure treated wood for over 7 years now and still have not rusted.
My buddy that has a wrought iron fence business uses them as well, he says by the time he preps and paints its not worth it for him to do it over what the PC'r charges. THey also do a zinc primer which is the only thing that can withstand the spray of a saltwater pool.

About the gas tank. Put a gallon of white vinegar in and slosh it around for a day or so to get the rust out. Then before putting it in a oven, put a rubber hose from the gas tank to the exhaust pipe of your truck for a half hour. This will kill all of the gas fumes and keep it from being a bomb in the oven. Then powder coat and put it in the oven.
I would put pictures with this but I don't know how to get them from my computer to this site.

Kreem Coat. If the directions are followed to the T it will last for 20 + years. I have done at least 15 outboard fuel tanks and 10 motorcycle tanks. Not 1 reject ever! It is high $$$ but worth every cent.

My son had a fairly large powder coating setup for a couple of years, and coated about everything under the sun. Most of his work was with transportation types, everything from snowmachine and atv frames to many things on 18 wheelers. The only thing I had him do on my semi was the aluminum wheels NO MORE POLISHING. lol
He did a lot of semi fuel tanks, but only on the outside.

My brothers friend powder coated this for me. Don't think he was happy with the fine detail but looks great on our '63 camper.

I'm not at home right now and don't have a picture but I did the ejector for housing on a Ruger Blackhawk. The original finish looked like **** when I got it and the rest of the gun looked OK. I figured worst case scenario would be that it'd turn out bad and I'd have to redo it. I ended up doing 2 coats using the shake and bake method and it doesn't look perfect but it sure looks a lot better than before.
