Picked one up today, no box or manual.

Anyone have loading info?

I presume 3f for the cyl, and 2f for the shotgun bbl.

Is 25gr 3f ok for the cyl? gun, its not a brass frame.

As for the shotgun, what weight shot charge and powder?

Thanks

25-30 gr 3f ,2f in shot barrel, you might want to try .451 balls. be carefull with your loading lever.there fragile, make sure the shot gun plunger is in the rammer

now this is interesting, that gun would scare the ------- out of any bad guy it was pointed at. what a machine.

I'm sure some fellows are shooting these in N-SSA competition, (not using the shotgun barrel). N-SSA.org you can join the forum free ask around.

The spring that holds the rammer against the barrel is the weak point of mine. It will guaranteed bounce out at least twice while unloading a cylinder. I tried to bend mine and broke it, e-mailed Pietta years ago and got a very nice message from one of the Pietta's himself - asking for my addy so they could send me a replacement. They knew it was the weak point.

40 grains of FFFg and 3/4 oz of shot makes a nice snake load.

Pietta USA has recommended loading data for their firearms on line. Page 18
