I want to mount a silencer on my favorite milsurp. What is the thread pattern on this rifle? Is there a an available thread adapter which takes this pattern up to a 5/8x24, which is the standard 308 thread pattern, and the pattern of my silencer.

Thanks folks! I'm doing my best to learn from you guys. There is so much information here!

Thanks. I ordered an adapter from CNC Warrior. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

I've read that the threading for the blank shredder/adapter is often not concentric or in line with the bore.

If not perhaps the threading can be cleaned up before mounting a thread adapter.

Would the length of the threaded portion be long enough for to support a can? It was meant for something that weighs a couple ounces, most likely.

That is a possibility. The can weighs 13 ounces, so we'll see.
