NOE makes a push through setup, but I have not used it.

I have a sizer adapter that holds lyman /rcbs sizers. Works great and I didn't have to re-buy more custom sizing dies. I don't think I've seen them for sale recently though.

I use the NOE push through and it rocks. Unlike the Lee the NOE bushings are right on as for size.

All I use is the NOE sizers, like mentioned already the sizes are spot on. Once you purchase the body that holds the size bushings, any size bushings you get are about half the price of a LEE sizer.

"cigarman" makes an adaptor for the layman sizer that makes it a push through. there are a couple of threads on it.

I too use the NOE sizers, a bit more expensive initially but far more accurate cheaper in the long run to add new ones.

Keith the "Perfessor" was making a set up that uses Lyman Dies and I got one. I already had a bunch of Lyman Sizing Dies and this thing made them much more useful.

It works great but Keith is not around anymore.

The NOE push thru sizer has no catch container i assume? If so is it push the bullet up thru sizer and remove from the top before inserting another? any home made ideas for a catch container for the bullets.Id like to minimize bullet handling. Thanks

The NOE will work w/ the same container that Lee uses.

If you want a project, here is a link for a write up on a push through sizing setup that I built specifically for powder coat bullets (it does use some Lee components though).

In the end, is it any better than using the dies in a regular press? Probably not, but I wanted a project and it looks kinda cool sitting on the bench with the rest of my presses!

Another recommendation here for the NOE sizer. Buy one die body. Then bushings and pushers for each caliber. Dimensions are correct. And they have many odd sizes. The red Lee case fits on it to catch sized bullets.

The only small gripe that I have is that, since the die body threads in from below, it does not permit the full travel of the ram, so I am unable to take full advantage of the press' available leverage.

Not considering Lee sizer dies as a starting point for getting the job done narrows your options a lot. Modifying and/or tuning these is easy, satisfying and cheap. I use a mix of brands of tools for my reloading and use the pieces which I perceive to best fit my needs regardless of the brands involved. Sometimes I do it the hard way, make my own, but I am fortunate that I have and know how to to use a lathe and milling machine.

Mecham tool makes a push thru sizer with a lube pump also. Pricey but good quality

Just get a Star and you can lube and size, all at the same time.
